So many questions. I wonder what the US special editions will be? If I'm totally honest in my opinion if it doesn't come with more power or less weight, or a titanium exhaust it's not really of more value. It will depreciate just the same as any other M8 coupe.
I think in one of the recent updates to the BMW pipeline thread we found out that BMW is going to discontinue the 8 series coupe earlier than anticipated and just hang onto the 8er gran coupe for the full life cycle. That would certainly make sense for the timing of these early special editions.
