Considering the 991's interior was already aged when it was released, that's not saying much.
That said, the retro-vertical qualities of the dash and the distinct lack of the feeling of sitting 'in' the car -- both hallmarks of the 911 experience throughout its existence -- are both also antithetical to the car's transformation into a small luxury GT. It
needed the Panamera's interior tech to offset those things. In that respect, it's already a success.
But I'm not a fan of less buttons. The Tim Allen in me wants them to push and light up so I can grunt in approval.
