I wish the instrument cluster was configurable in a way that makes it possible to choose to display M5's cluster or even the good old BMW's orange instrument cluster with gauges (since it's digital, it is possible to do it)

I thinks it is a typo in the OP (US press release ?). Other BMW press documentation show the same power numbers as the M5: 600hpDIN/440kW base and 625hpDIN/460kW Competition.
