If my math is correct, you will need a 240V feed at 40 amps (33 amp load) including the usual safety factor.
I will let you Google for the required wire size for the above, and hope that your conduit is both passable and large enough for the new wire.
Disclaimer that I'm not an electrician, but had to install a 240V/40A outlet for my 32A EV charger.....

That is correct calculation. One more thing to consider is how long are the wires. It may be necessary to increase gauge if over a certain distance for a given amperage. And one more: 240V wires should be red, black and grounding green. I bet the currents are black and white.
