This is why I bought my 135is used. Granted I paid a little extra since it was CPO but certainly didn't pay the $51,300 sticker price. And my car is probably still worth less than I owe. But at least I'm not $20k+ upside down.
I would consider buying another car new but only something like an M2 or something that would probably hold its value longer. I figure more used M2s will pop up for lower cost. I just saw a 2016 for $52k but it already sold and a private sale for $50k firm but I don't care for LBB.
