Actually vice versa, i.e., my first choice would be wood but outside of Piano Black nothing available on the M850i would go with my interior so I chose the CF and do love it. My comment was in regards to post calling out the trim is only on the center console (charging tray/cup holders door and around the gear box). I would have expected on the 8-series to have a bit more incorporated into the dash and door panels.
The irony now is I absolutely love the full leather interior including the dash so it is hard for me to picture the car otherwise with additional trim components. Hence, the comment was more along the lines of an expectation for the "flagship" series but overall I'd take the 8-series interior over a M5 as per my original statement.  |
