Haven't we've seen Avus Blue, Interlgagos Blue, Imola Red, and Hellrot in recent years on individual M3/4s? I know for a fact we've seen them in the E9x generation and I'm pretty sure I've seen some of them on F8x ones as well.

You are correct. I was thinking of standard production colors.
Several of those have been approved for INDIVIDUAL, with varying reports of success.
There is an Imola red M3 sedan here in Dfw at a local dealer - Sewell grapevine.
The only color from that era that I can recall that has actually been returned to standard production is estoril Blue II.
