I'll be heading from PCD to Philly on Nov 6-7. Is this a good enough route to get a good feel for the Blue Ridge Parkway? The section from Pisgah Inn to Blowing Rock. Don't think i want to drive any more than this. It's 12 hrs on paper but will end up being close to 16-17 hrs with stoppages. Will be doing it over 2 days.
