an ecu tune will remove the top speed limiter. I've seen stock m850i doing 200 mph. I bet the m8 can exceed 200 mph stock with a stage 1 ecu tune.
add an exhaust, some pipes, chips, and ecu tune for race fuel or such and I have no doubt the m5 or m8 will hit 220 mph.
