yep, very similar! I know nothing about batteries despite my undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from UVA in 2000. I've been an econ and lawyer too long to remember what Amps and Volts work.

but I'd wager the bigger BMW one should be better for you. we have the Amazon one because we have 5 cars and it works with all of them, so far!
