They are saying starting price is $52,500 for a 400 horsepower car you can reserve for $2500. The cheapest used tesla is $47500 and new ones are $70k. A little competition will help drive down the price of the ev luxury market. My next car will likely be electric.
The Model 3 is being delivered this month, starting at $35k. So problem solved. Lucid making actual cars sounds like it has about as much of a chance of happening as BMW making another naturally aspirated motor.
The model 3 competes in the compact luxury class hence the lower price. Lucid is mid size but has a 7 series sized interior. Not sure about trunk space though.
