I'm sure there are people in this world who do enjoy that; but a transmission is an entirely different league of importance in terms of driving experience. It is one of the primary interfaces for the driver to control the car. It matters every second of driving.

The brakes are a very important part of the driving experience also, let's not forget. Which is why I mentioned it.
