Well, not so true! I bought a 60V chainsaw a few years ago which suddenly quit on me. One phone call and there was a NEW replacement in the mail. Was crazy because I expected to either send it back for repair or be given a local repair drop off location. So their warranty is still good, the unit had a 5 year warranty by the way. Reinforced my decision to stand by the product.
