I have a 2020 M850i (10/19/2019) build date and wouldn't change it for the 2023s when the lease was up. Considered a 2023 M8C but couldn't justify the uplift when the M850i has all the power I need and is just fun as hell to drive.
Thanks very much for the info, much. Its greatly appreciated. I'm going to find the best deal on a really nice 2019 or 202, that I can make work for my budget and grab one. The test ride in that 2023 was nothing short of outstanding. And thats coming from someone who has owned a number of very serious cars. That included a 99 E36 M3, a 2006 E46 M3 with a full Dinan badge, an Audi R8, and a Jaguar F-Type R, which I still own.

Also, as far as I am concerned, you made the exact right decision on staying with your M850i. The M8 is just not worth all that additional cost. It also strays even further from any performance gains that could ever be utilized except on the track, and it was never designed for that to start with. What is there that an M850i could ever not possibly be capable of on public roads? Even in outlying areas where you can let loos a bit, its sensational.

Thanks again!
