Beautiful scenery, clever idea... But the result really doesn't convey the high-end upmarket feel that BMW claims this car is bringing to the table. There is nothing that screams racy, elegant, thoroughbred, it's seemingly just a... quick car, yeah well this isn't what's supposed to make 'THE 8' special in the lineup.
Would do a great ad for the more light-hearted and less pretentious Z4 or 4er, but it really doesn't do justice and doesn't legitimize the 8 and its high price point and market positioning, hell we don't even get to fully see the beauty of the car. Massive marketing fail as far as I'm concerned.
