I notice that removing 5AP from VO isn't part of this list. In (many) other threads some of the tribal knowledge seems to be that 5AP has some top level function that prevents the coding from having the intended effect, or perhaps it's just there to enable the ECU reset to accomplish some of this as a default.
Anyone know if this list of codes get the designed functionality while 5AP remains?
I'm considering doing this to my 23 M850. I'm wondering if removing 5AP has any long term impact with some future OTA being rejected or maybe something at the dealership that the car no longer matches the build sheet, some kind of VIN tracking or something.
