Morning, close to securing a 2022 from a BMW dealer and they are trying to have me extend the warranty - I am on the fence. Coming from an M6GC I had NO warranty for 5 years with zero issues - oil changed every 2500, set of tires, set of brakes.

Dealer is telling me the maintenance will cover a brake job, wipers, spark plugs, and oil - (I remember the days when this was all a part of the 4/50!). And that the brakes COST 1500 per axle, which I am struggling to believe.

I have a phenomenal indy 5 miles away from my house who has done everything on the M6 and I will get a quote today.

Otherwise, is this really worth it - or considering, am I just paying BMW the same amount (or more) that I would typically give my mechanic?

Is the m850 brake job really 3k? Hard to believe it would be more than the M6 we just came from (non CCB)
