It's easy to read something someone writes and take it the wrong way, then reply in a similarly understood manner, amplifying the missed messages.
Most of us aren't English majors either... but that's another issue all together.

Yes, very true in misunderstanding a person’s tone. I try to stay mild mannered so I’m not misunderstood. All we have here are our words plus emojis (as mentioned). Always best to err on the side of caution imo. I’d rather make friends, not enemies especially if it’s because I’m being misunderstood.
