For Tesla it's to 150K, but only kicks in if you fall below 70% of rated capacity.
Imagine an MPG warranty on a car that is bought because it gets 30 MPG, but you can't claim a warranty repair till the MPG falls under 21.
It's not a bad warranty, just be sure to read the fine print. It also indicates what "normal" and "expected" looks like.
