Ordering the non-run-flat tire option with the 668M wheels requires the spare tire. The spare and the raised platform used to cover it do take up trunk space, especially if you are using suitcases for a trip. There is a considerable loss in height/depth. The good thing is the spare tire, the platform and foam inserts can easily be removed in minutes, no tools required. The floor panel will fit back in the trunk to be exactly like the run-flat version.
