I simply thought that practice was no longer in play. My best friend owns a BMW dealership and so I knew it used to happen but didn't know it still did

Porsche is shifty (dealerwise)--- they cant sell on their official website discounted prices (new) so when covid hit in March and several stores had Turbo's and Turbo S's- they punched them so they became used (Porsche's clock starts) and then posted discounted prices as a used car with 29, 35, 79, miles etc. in order to move them. But then as factories shut down and supply dried up they realized the error in their ways.
Southbay Porsche had 2 Turbo S cars with MSRP's of right at 200k (2019's) and had them advertised for 160k. Boy I missed that boat- a tune and exhaust and those .2's rip.
