Sadly I dont know if they will with the 8 series... but then what high end coupe in the Benz or BMW world is ever solid from a pricing perspective. Benz is still getting crushed on the 2019 GT63S's (technically a coupe) and they wont even help their dealer network move them with trunk vs BMW FS monies. Then you have the dreaded S63 Coupe LOL.

Even the M5 after a month or so was going on firesales back in q3 and q4 of 2018. The 2019's and then 2020's all followed suit with triple cut backs plus loyalty plus tiny little MF's. BMW AG loves its captive cause its particpating so much in its ability to lease these cars. Id bet the AG is guaranteeing multiple points on the majority of the cars's residuals.
