Just go easy and listen to your body. Don't let it get you down, use it as fuel to stay motivated.

You still have muscle memory going for you, and you just have to find other means of stressing the muscle to elicit that response that doesn't injure or compromise your surgery.

There are so many different ways and angles to work the muscle....you just have to get creative.

An example is chest. Most everyone will tell you that benching is a must. And while that can be true to a point as it allows you to use heavy weight and create more stress, the pectoral muscle isn't only intended to push things away from you, but also its primary function is to pull your arm across your chest....a "flye".

You know all of this already...you just have to create a gameplan now finding exercises you can do, and after recovery start progressing on those exercises you will be able to include.

I know it has to suck, but look at it as a challenge. It's not going to beat you!
