I would hope so. In the article about M-cars and manual transmissions, the spokesperson said that future M2,M3, and M4's would have manuals, so I'd think the M2 would live on. I can't imagine that its sales are so low in comparison to the M3/4 that they would stop, and the M2 seems to provide the best press for BMW at the moment.
