Just a note for our data bases in our heads, that was 1/1600-sec. to freeze a small, fast bird, but blur the wings. I didn't really have that in mind. I was at ISO 1600 and f/8 to get needed DOF, so 1/1600-sec. became the highest speed that I could achieve without raising ISO further. The 5D4 generates excellent files at ISO 1600 and 3200, but I still try to keep it as low as I can.
I knew that was a keeper, as soon as I saw the preview on the back of the camera, so I ran it through DxO's pixel-by-pixel PRIME noise reduction and then sharpened it with piccure+, which also a pixel-by-pixel adjustment. As far as I can determine, those are the two top software for those functions. I'm very happy with both.
