I do agree that it's hard to tell if the mirrors are cerium grey, bit isn't it a free option to have mirrorcaps body coloured on M performance models?

Ah, forgot about the LED fogs that normal m-sports have. So you might be right. Don't know if M performance cars can get body colored mirror caps.
