Holy crap this thing is going to be insane!
I owned a C6 Z06 and it was an incredible car.

I also read that the 8 speed automatic shifts 8 hundreds of a second QUICKER than the Porsche PDK! Unreal!
For those saying it's a cop-out to put a slush box in the car - remember, it's a business decision to sell as many cars as they can. If this car doesn't sell well, then there will be no replacement for it. Also, this car has over 600hp and 600 ft lbs of torque. You need to remember GM has to warranty this car as well. Designing a dual-clutch trans that will handle all that power and not blow-up over the course of 60K miles will be expensive.
