What. A. Disappointment.

The front isnt too bad, but that rear is horrid, tacky. Is that a conventional trunk design/opening? I at least hope its a Hatch style design/opening.

I've been saying BMW design needs a shakeup, but I'm just gonna leave this right here, Adrian Van Hooydonk needs to just be fired at this point. When is his contract up?

As a long time BMW fan and owner, all these new BMW production car designs are a true let down. They really are truly ugly. I wont keep my hopes high for the production Z4 after seeing this.

I believe that the rear of the 8 series will have the same impact.
I think it will look amazing but we just need to get used to it
If I remember correctly, the consensus wasnt that is was ugly, it was that it looked too much like an Acura, which it still does.

The interior looks like a dated pos so far.

BMW tend to look better in a flash..but from the looks of it there isn't really anything ground breaking or exciting. Perhaps the drivetrain will be its saving grace.

Let us hope that this leak of unflattering pictures prompts BMW to quickly release higher quality ones that put the unit in a better light.

Finally some good-looking headlights, unlike the current trembling lines seen in their other car's headlights, like they don't know which direction to take.

The glued tablet is finally gone, it has a proper in-dash screen.

Pretty nice advancements, after like 10 years of waiting...

Where have you been? The 8 is just the new 6. And somehow, the 6er becomes the new 5GT. This is the new 6er:

Wow, how did it end up looking like that after the stunning 8 series concept shown last year!

I think we should all calm down... I'm sure the rear will look better when actual pictures are released this is clearly distorted

If is not a joke then is horrid.
Looks like a fish from the bottom of the ocean
BMW today in my opinion is behind Audi, mercedes even ford or vw on design.
It is so easy to make a plastic bumper with 100 lines but so difficult to make a good looking one for bmw apparently.

This 8 looks to me like a mastershit.
Mercedes has some elegant and muscular lines, audi is on the discrete side but looks very stylish to me. Currently i struggle to see some positive in the BMW design.

E30, Z4 1,2, E90, E39, z8, m1, 507, e24, e9 etc i like all of them.

BMW continues the practice of unpainted black bumpers...Horrible for a vehicle costing upwards of $100k+
