Owner's manual doesn't say anything about regular lubrication or maintenance of the convertible mechanical joints.
Does any has suggestions about frequencies (once or twice a yr?) of lubrication?
Where/which joints needs to be lubed? Pictures of locations, since there's dozens of posibilities...
Best lubricants (WD-40?, etc.?)

For the love of the car do NOT use WD-40 on anything of the top. If needed you want to use polytetrafluoroethylene in a bowl and use a small paint brush so to control the fluid and apply. I've looked at my top and have found no need to apply anything anytime soon. Now I do the weather stripping about once every three months, clean and lube bc of the AZ weather.

I have driven convertibles since 1978 and have never had a practice of lubing the joints. I think I did it once on some car just for the heck of it, but never have on my 650. No issues.
