A question about Conti Extreme Contact DWS 06 tires
A few people here with the M850i have, like myself, decided to use this all season tire. Mine was the version from last year (not the newer Plus model)
Last winter they held up fine in the snow and ice. I’ve put about 7500-8k miles on these tires. My question is, how many miles do these tires hold up with decent snow and wet traction? I’m sure I’ll be fine this year, but I’m thinking about future years. I know that they are supposed to last 50k miles, but I have a hard time believing that for a performance tire. Thanks

I had a 2019 MB C63S that I used to swap between Summer and Winters and got tired of that so I moved to the Conti's and they were great. I can't say how long they lasted as I traded it for my M8 GC recently, but they showed no significant wear on the tread. (I didn't track the car, so only some hard street driving) Not much of a drop off in performance in dry or wet versus the Michelin's I had on for Summers.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I will be driving my car in all 4 seasons, which includes winter and snow. So I will keep an eye out for the “S” still being on the tire. I would hope I could at least get 20k miles on these tires, including winter. After all, if I can’t drive this car in snow then I have to replace the tires regardless
