But on paper it's a difficult choice perhaps.

2019 M8 Coupe:

+ AWD M xDrive System
+ 600hp
-- ZF 8spd Auto
+ Good utility
++ Best looking out of all current BMW's
- Big chassis
--- Heavy Chassis: ~4,200lbs
++ Loads of Tech
---- With options: ~$150,000 USD

Versus:

2019 Aston Martin Vantage
+ RWD
+++ Killer Looks
-- Not much utility
++++ 7 Speed Manual Transmission Option
+++ Exceptional light curb weight: ~3,300lbs
-/+ Small Chassis
- Average Tech
+ Tuned AMG Engine by Aston Martin with 500hp
- With options: ~$160,000 USD

The Aston will definitely do much better in retaining value if both cars are driven the same mileage per year. Oh well, Aston it is then.

2 totally different cars. That's like comparing a S65 coupe to a Huracan. Similar price yet 2 totally different experiences and different drivers.
