The power differential always make the employee the more vulnerable. He is the boss, how could he be so naive to think that trying to pressure her into continuing the affair when she wanted to stop was a good idea.
Horner is the author of his own misfortune, he is a married man, he should have kept his trousers zipped up then he wouldn't be in the position he is.
